Feed, inputs and weather

Parts of Australia continue to experience dry conditions and are exposed to high bought in feed costs. While fodder demand and prices have eased they are still relatively high, and grain and water prices also remain high.

Hay and Grain Report

Dairy Australia regularly releases the Hay Report and the Grain Report to inform farmers of regional Australian prices of hay and grain, as well as reporting factors impacting supply and demand.

The hay and grain report is commissioned by Dairy Australia to provide an independent and timely assessment of hay and grain markets in each dairying region. The report is updated 40 weeks per year.
